Welcome,
I have been interested in photography for over 30 years. My love for the wilderness has led me to pursue landscape and wildlife photography, which I began in earnest in 1993. Since that time I have seen wild turkeys in the woods of New England, grizzlies just a few feet away from me in Alaska, bison roaming the Montana valleys, a moose calf and her mother appear out of mist to enter a New Hampshire bog at sunrise and thousands of elk feeding in a winter field. I have also captured images of cowboys riding the Wyoming prairies, magical beams of light as they enter slickrock canyons in the southwest, as well as the majestic mountains of the Tetons.
Many of these images have been very well received. I have been fortunate enough to have won numerous photography awards, exhibited in several galleries and have been published in national magazines. Recently, I was featured in the “Special Collector’s Issue” of Cowboys and Indians Magazine for a photograph that was taken in Monument Valley. I have also studied under some of the best photographers out there today.
Most recently, I have also co-produced an educational video documentary on “The Bears of McNeil River”. I am available to schools, clubs and organizations to entertain and educate people on this truly unique place.
I hope you like my images as much as I have enjoyed making them. Please contact me if you have any questions. Also, rest assured, your name and email address will remain private.
Thank you,
Don Gorczynski
